Jack Nicklaus at the Masters
He’s the picture of concentration. He’s the winningest golfer ever to don a pair of cleats. He’s more than a professional whose uncanny ability to remain calm under unbelievably pressure-packed putts is the awe of golfers everywhere. He’s quite simply a legend. In his stint as the PGA’s premier golfer, the Golden Bear, Jack Nicklaus, belted his way to more major championships than any other golfer, with five PGA, four U.S. Open, three British Open, six Masters and two U.S. Amateur titles. All told, he holds more than 70 titles on the regular professional tour. In this print, America’s Sports Artist, Rick Rush, has captured the granite-faced Nicklaus in a pose to be remembered for posterity – the master poised to wear yet another crown.
